• • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.

We only collect what is needed to run the app and your account.

Account information

• • Username and password (passwords are stored hashed and never in plain text). We do not store your email address.
• • Optional profile details you choose to add, such as display name, avatar, country, and bio.

Connected music services

• • If you link Last.fm, Stats.fm, or Musicat, we store your public username for that service and the BTS-related listening data we pull (track name, artist, album, timestamp, play count).
• • We never receive your password for these services. You can disconnect at any time from your profile settings.

App activity

• • Mission progress, photocard collection, game results, predictions, votes, badges, and similar in-app actions.
• • Forum posts, comments, reactions, and reports you submit.
• • Notification preferences and (if you opt in) push notification tokens.

Technical data

• • Basic device and browser information (user agent, language, approximate region from IP) for security, abuse prevention, and debugging.
• • Aggregated, non-identifying analytics about which pages and features are used.

We don't collect or store your payment card details. Supporter payments are processed securely by Stripe (see section 8).

• • To create your account and keep you signed in.
• • To run features you use: missions, photocards, games, leaderboards, charts, predictions, and the forum.
• • To sync your BTS listening from connected music services and count it toward missions and stats.
• • To send the notifications you have opted into (mission resets, replies, announcements).
• • To prevent abuse, cheating, spam, and to enforce these terms and the forum rules.
• • To improve the app through aggregated usage analytics.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your content to train AI models.

We share data only with the services needed to operate the app:

• • Last.fm, Stats.fm, Musicat, Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, iTunes — when you connect or query these services for listening data and chart information.
• • Google Analytics — to understand aggregate, non-identifying usage of the app.

Public profile information, forum posts, leaderboard entries, and game results may be visible to other users of the app.

• • We keep your data for as long as your account is active.
• • You can edit your profile, change notification preferences, disconnect music services, and delete your account from your profile settings.
• • Deleting your account removes your personal information and content. Some anonymized aggregate data (such as historical chart totals) may be retained.
• • To request a copy of your data or have specific information removed, contact us at the email below.

• • Follow the Forum rules when posting in the community.
• • Do not cheat, automate, or manipulate missions, votes, games, or streaming counts.
• • Do not scrape, reverse engineer, or overload our APIs.
• • Do not upload illegal, harmful, hateful, or sexually explicit content, or content that violates the privacy of BTS members or other people.
• • Do not share leaks or unreleased BTS content.

We may suspend or remove accounts and content that violate these terms, with or without notice.

You keep ownership of the content you post (forum threads, comments, predictions, etc.). By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive license to host, display, and moderate that content within the app.

You can optionally support the app with a one-off or recurring payment. Supporter payments are voluntary contributions toward running costs (hosting, database, image hosting, and similar) — they are not a purchase of goods, services, or any guaranteed feature.

• • A successful payment grants a permanent supporter badge and is recorded in your account so you can see everything you've contributed.
• • Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
• • Refunds: you may request a full refund within 30 days of a payment by contacting us. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method. After 30 days, payments are non-refundable.
• • If a payment is refunded and you have no other qualifying support remaining, the supporter badge is removed.
• • Recurring subscriptions (where offered) can be canceled at any time; cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund past charges.

To request a refund, email us at btsnewsalert@gmail.com with your account and the payment date.

The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Chart data, listening counts, and predictions are provided for fan and informational purposes only and may contain errors or delays. We are not responsible for outages, lost data, or inaccuracies in third-party data.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, post an in-app announcement. Continuing to use the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
